Saturday was awesome! I got to spend time with some blogger friends, have fun,
meet some unseen faces - whom I had only read earlier. Overall, it was quite an
intellectual afternoon which included gaining insights about hair care and
blogging, in general.
meets are never disappointing. This one included around 90-100 powerful women
bloggers across Mumbai, all together! To add spark to the event, the IndiBand
played Pink Floyd - 'We Don’t Need No Education'! We got the feel of
a total Rock band performing for all the ladies and we were all soon head banging!
It broke the ice and got us all in the perfect mood! We were later given
chilled tender coconut water with some yummy starters.
unveiling the product, we had an introduction session where few bloggers gave a
short introduction about them and their blogs. I got pretty inspired with some
of the lady speakers like Geetha Sridhar and so many more.
had the Marketing Head, Dabur who explained us in detail the company’s history
& their products.

aims at giving you manageable and less frizzy hair.
Vatika Jasmine Oil was launched with the dramatic spray of Jasmine fragrance

in a cloud of smoke and lights. It was dreamy! See the picture below. :D
the end of the product launch, a small presentation by a scientist from Dabur

that make their products work.

and got my hair messed up. To rectify it though, we had the Vatika folks
waiting at the Vatika Champi station!
Champi Station was open. The pretty
stylist gave me a perfect champi, and the mild floral smell of jasmine was very
refreshing. She then told me to come after I finish my lunch, so that the oil
gets some time to show its effect on my hair!
bloggers shared their tried and tested hair remedies too. A super buffet lunch
followed and God, the food was flawless! I loved the mini pizzas, garlic bread
sticks, blueberry cheese cake, Ferrero Rocher ice cream - to name a few
lunch, the sweet hairstylist then washed my hair, and believe you me, the oil
got washed off pretty easily. She then gave my hair a quick blow dry and a
braided hair style. I totally loved it!
after hair wash, I applied a bit of the Dabur Vatika Jasmine oil to check it
myself. The oil was not sticky, I liked the fragrance too. At the end of a
hectic day at work, I found less frizz in my hair! So, ladies it does work!
leaving, we had a bag full of goodies waiting for us which included -

The hospitality that was put in by the Indiblogger and Vatika team is
worth a mention. Thank you for a lovely afternoon! Totally enjoyed!
Hello Ladies, One of the best things about blogging is discovering new, interesting and great
brands. My latest discovery is The
Nature’s Co has an amazing range of personal
care and wellness products. I like their ingredient list, they are one of my
At Nature’s Co, nature is a way of life. Here, a
strict adherence to the ‘all natural’ way persists. The products contain the
natural ingredients that are against animal cruelty, vegan and of best quality
from across the globe!
Today I am reviewing and sharing my views on a cool
summery product from The
Nature’s Co, i.e. Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash.
I used the Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash from The Nature’s Co “Starrize”
range like for a week now, so I think, I am educated enough to review it

Products made using natural hill spring water.
How to use:
the shower or bath, spread the scrub over your entire body. Rub it in to
exfoliate and then rinse well.
I Loved about The Nature's Co. Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash:
Sniff.. The delicious fragrance bowled me over. It
smells of watermelon and kiwi. It's very refreshing and you will definitely
love it, I guarantee, especially during the Indian summers. It has
a fruity and a yummy scent, which is strong without being too pungent!
It lathers pretty well and cleans thoroughly. The
small walnut grits you see are really mild and not much abrasive on skin. They
gently remove dead cells and exfoliate skin. At first I felt the kiwi seeds
would be too harsh for my skin, but once I put it to the test, I realized I
shouldn’t have worried.
Complete body polishing treatment that eliminates
blemishes and leaves the skin clear, toned and glowing. You can feel the
suppleness and softness of the clean skin after shower.
The texture's not all runny, and neither too thick.
A red gel with brown granules i.e the walnut grits and black kiwi seeds.
Has antioxidants properties.
Easy to open flip-flop cap.
Watermelon provides miniaturization and hydration.
Meant for all skin type.
It does not leave my skin dry and itchy.
The see through tube packaging.
Available online easily.
Shelf life mentioned on package.
I don't love a bit about The Nature's Co. Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash:
Overpriced! I honestly feel they could have been
The packaging is nice, but when you almost finish
up, it will get difficult to squeeze out the product. Also, I have to admit, the
fragrance/scent hardly lasts for an hour or so on me.
P.S: If money ain't a limitation and you want to
indulge, this is a good pick. I would repurchase only for that amazing
I recommend it to people who need a change with
their body washes, and definitely to them who are looking for a nice summer
body wash. Go for it!

She looked in his eyes, sea blue eyes,
she fell for. Those eyes never lied. Maybe he is right, she thought.
Bouts of vomiting after chemotherapy
would drain her and she would go back to depression.
It was Ritwik who took care of her,
took her to the nearby park, spoke all good things to her.
He held her hand one day and said,
"You know, Neha, I must have taken you at times for granted, while being
busy at work. But this sickness of yours has made me realise our near and dear
ones should always be our priority. Now all we need to do is - fight it out.
Coz I won't let you go so early. There are years left for us to love, fight and
then love more. You get it?" She smiled.
Neha would go deep into depression and
would sulk when alone, but Ritwik started being with her most of the times and
would read out positive winning stories of Cancer patients who won battle
against the C.
It was her last chemo session. She
asked the doctor, about her sickness. Dr, Rao said looking at Ritwik,
"Neha, I see many cases where a woman diagnosed with Cancer is abandoned
by family and husbands - rarely support. You are very lucky, he's always been
Holding Ritwik's hand she said,
"Ritwik, he is my life. In this journey, he has been my strength. I look

have spent many good days with him, but these days here at the hospital made me
realise he loves me and I also felt bad about the times I fought with him for
not giving me time. But he is the best. He gave me the strength and motivation I
needed to go on with optimism, and look up to these horrible chemo sessions. He
is a sweetheart, totally!"
Ritwik and Neha now visit the doctor
regularly. Though the Cancer is cured, but it was advised to Neha to go for check
up routines. Not once does Ritwik let Neha alone. They are always #together. Together
in this journey called 'life'. Neha is more positive about life now.

Today, I am reviewing Elle's juicy lip balm (Juicy Peach)
which is available in 6 different
flavours in the market.
INR 110 for 9 ml
I picked Juicy peach amongst a variety of Lip Balms. The
packaging says Lip Balm but to me it gives a feel of lip gloss however it has
the goodness of Vitamin E and Jojoba and Olive oil making it an appropriate
nourishing lip balm. It gives a nice light hint of peach colour of lips making
them look supple and attractive. This lip balm cum gloss has SPF 15 to protect
and prevent lips from darkening. It makes your lips very soft and smooth.
Juicy Lip Balm is creamy and smooth in texture, looks
glossy on lips when applied. But the glossiness fades away after an hour
leaving the lips moisturized with a little shine. So, the hydration stays on
the surface and does not penetrate the upper layer like any other good lip balm
The packaging is a simple clear tube with a black screw cap.
The nozzle of the tube releases the lip balm only when squeezed, there is no
trouble of product wastage by oozing and stuff. Overall it is a simple, sturdy
and super travel friendly packaging. This impressive product appends gloss and
nourishment to your delicate lips.
can get average colour plus little moisture with these. The product stayed on
me for one and half hours. Low staying power, though!
