Incolor Matte me Lip Creams - Review Video + Blogpost

Watch my take on these lipsticks on YouTube above!

Hello Girls,

I was eyeing on the Sleek Matte me Dupes. These are the Incolor Matte me Lip Creams. I got them from Amazon. These are available in numerous shades, I got hold of three bright shades. Lets begin.

These are packed in cuboid tube lip gloss like packaging. The cap is screw secured and black in color with brand name engraved on it. While the rest of the tube is left transparent to let you peep into the color. It’s very helpful when you own so many lip creams and glosses in your vanity.

The applicator is a winner to me, as it is very sleek and slim. Lining the lips first and then filling the color in is quite easy. My thin lips can be lined with the slim tip. It also controls the quantity of lip cream on the applicator, which doesn’t let the lips smear with color.

Texture To begin with these are matte, but the texture and finish? Not happening. When I apply on my scrubbed clean lips, they apply streaky and patchy. When applied on moisturized lips, they perform better. The appearance and finish is a bit tricky with this one, unlike the Miss Claire ones. For me the texture matters a lot, my lips should feel comfortable and I should feel confident. With this, I have to constantly keep a check whether it has worn off patchily or appearing streaky.

Pigmentation and Staying Power
Even if the texture has disappointed me, the pigmentation has tried to mend my heart. The colors show up quite well on my lips. They stay well until you have a meal or a drink with a straw. Yes it transfers and wears off unevenly. Which is a big turn off. I have one meal with a spoon and half the color is off from the center of my lips.

Removing the lip cream is very difficult, lips almost die. Use coconut oil to get rid of it.

Stunning colors.

Matte finish

Sleek packaging

Wand applicator for easy application

Creamy formula

Long staying.

Easily available, both online and offline.

Most of the shades are excessively matte, thus feel drying on my lips.

Tends to highlight dry patches and fine lines.

Costly on Amazon

Final Thoughts:-

Lip creams are in vogue and at this price, these lip creams are totally worth every penny. Only turnoff is, some of them feel so matte, like deserts. Formula is bit drying on lips and dryness increases with passage of time.

All the three shades, I have, have good pigmentation and I get complete opacity in one swipe, maximum two. Brush sponge picks up enough liquid required for single application. These settle down to complete matte finish which is neither powdery nor velvety.

Being true mattes, they do not bleed or feather. Incolor Lip creams are completely transfer-proof but accentuate fine lip lines and cling to dry patches. In case you have dry flaky lips, I recommend overnight hydration with good lip balm followed by morning exfoliation with tooth brush for more even, smooth application.

All the shades last for up to 6-8 hours on my lips. With meals, I tend to lose color from the centre of my lips which looks unsightly. I prefer taking out these lip creams with an oil based makeup remover as oil breaks down matte formula and nourishes lips along with.

Incolor Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream 401 is bright fuchsia  pink that will suit fair to medium skin tones.

Incolor Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream 415 is my favorite neutral pink shade that looks good on fair to medium skin tones. An ideal shade to be paired up with smokey eyes or bold kohled eyes.

VERDICT: Incolor Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream is great affordable matte lip creams for beauties on budget. Shade range and stay is quite impressive. Packaging too is pretty decent for the price. But beauties with dry lips can find the texture too drying for regular wear. Formula applies creamy and gives intense color pay off but accentuates fine lip lines. You can pick 2-3 shades from this collection if you don’t have dry flaky lips.

Review: The Nature’s Co Coffee Scrub

The Nature’s Co is a great brand for those looking for completely vegan products. Their entire product range is cruelty free, environmentally friendly and PETA certified. Their product range is organized around the five elements of the Earth, whichd are called Atmospure, Starrize, Foressence, Earthborne and Aquaspark.

The product label states that The Nature’s Co Coffee Scrub belongs to their Starrize range. It is suitable for all skin types. It is branded as one of the bestselling products from their range. It comes in a transparent tube with easy-to-handle flip-flop cap, travel friendly.

Ingredients: Coffee extract; Coffee powder; Coffee grits; Vegetable Glycerin; Olive oil.

ADVANTAGES: Antioxidants – Most of us know that coffee is a great source of antioxidants. The caffeine in coffee acts as the antioxidant and in skin care, it helps by neutralizing the effects of free radicals on the inner layer of skin.  Damage to the inner layer results in age spots and wrinkles. The antioxidant is absorbed by the skin and thus prevents in premature aging.

Exfoliation – coffee scrubs are made with coarse grounds with salt/sugar.  This helps in proper removal of the dead skin.
Blood flow – caffeine increases the blood flow in skin and may reduce appearance of cellulite.
Exfoliates skin; Removes the upper, dead layer of skin; Anti-microbial & antioxidant; Gives a healthy and instant glow.

HOW TO USE: Wet your face and neck, massage using light circular motions. Rinse off and pat skin dry. Can be used daily. Go ahead and get addicted!

CLAIMS BY THE COMPANY - Pamper the coffee lover in you with our invigorating Coffee Face Scrub. It is full of anti-microbial and antioxidant properties that sloughs dead skin, boosts circulation and imparts an instant radiant glow.

The most wonderful aspect of this product is its fragrance. It gives off the South Indian filter coffee fragrance which I absolutely adore. The scrub has an extremely creamy texture with coffee grits to be used for exfoliation. It is neither too thick nor too runny.

As someone who finds it extremely difficult to wake up in the morning and who craves coffee to get going, this face scrub gives me the much needed jolt to get moving for the day.

The product is creamy in texture and has got this coarse granules of coffee which cleans away your dead skin perfectly yet keeps moisture intact. My skin feels soft and supple and moisturised after scrubbing.  I have been using this scrub everyday after cleansing my face and follow this up with a splash of rose water and some moisturising cream. My skin feels squeaky clean and refreshed.

Would I Recommend This Product?

The coarse coffee grits effectively slough off the dead skin cells, while the glycerin and natural oil in the scrub moisturize the skin. The coffee face scrub not only felt great on my skin but it left my skin wonderfully soft, smooth, and radiant. Unlike other face scrubs available in the market; I did not feel the need for a separate skin tightening/moisturizing face mask after using this scrub.

RECOMMEND? Absolutely YES!  If the price (Rs 1086) is okay for you and you love the smell of coffee, you will definitely find yourself sniffing at it throughout the day! It’s a must-try product, with shelf life of 2 years, so a little goes a long way J

Product Review - iGlory Fragrances

I recently got my hands on the iGlory roll-on fragrances. I got 3 of them -
1. Mount Frost,
2. Rose Oudh,
3. Tea Rose.

I tried finding them online. And they are available on ShopClues and Amazon.

What I liked : iGlory's 100% Original fragrances are encased in a most elegant gold-colored aluminum bottle, worthy of being flaunted. It is extremely travel-friendly, easy to carry in pockets and purses. They are long lasting, free of alcohol, gas and water. Perfect for everyday use.

Tea Rose - Unusual blend of fresh and floral, sweet with a woody sensuality that sparkles all day. Smells like rose and a lot like the Yardley's 'English Rose' range of perfume! Well, like a best friend you always want this close at hand, this can help you smell like flowers all day long.

Rose Oudh - Traditionally a masculine perfume, its appeal to women is indisputable. But, it is the fragrance I liked the least. It simply isn't my type, as it makes me feel dizzy due to its extra strong fragrance. I will use this one the least.

Mount Frost - Coolest roll on fragrance I have ever used. Ozonic and breezy with an undercurrent of irresistible Musk fragrance to enchant one and all. It's a fantasy perfume, a gateway to another world. It is a fresh fragrance that envelops you in its brightness all day. This one's my favorite. I will use this one the most.

Verdict: Overall, they are a long lasting bunch of fragrances. It is totally worth the money you pay. They have quite a wide range of Arabic & Floral perfumes. Easy to apply and light weight to carry everywhere you go - boxed in a contemporary packaging design to give you the "rich feel".

Definitely recommended.

P.S : I thank Dharni Shah (representing iGlory) for introducing me to them. All views are my own.
